Amy Bohanon
Director of Engagement
Amy and her family joined St. Patrick over the summer of 2021, returning home to Louisville after more than ten years in the
Philadelphia area. Not only is she employed at St. Patrick but she is also a parishioner and a school mom to a 5th grader!
Amy was educated in the Catholic school system from 3rd grade all the way through college – she has lived in Florida, Texas,
Washington, D.C., and attended high school in southern California before heading to the East coast, where she attended the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA. She received her master’s degree from Northwestern University. The majority
of her professional career was spent in healthcare operations management.
Once her family returned to the Louisville area five years ago, Amy became involved in multiple volunteer roles at school and
church, including managing the Mystery Reader program in the elementary school library, acting as Swim Team Coordinator,
assisting as Baptism Ministry coordinator and helping the parish office with children’s Sacraments.
Over the years, Amy has been a member of the Pastoral Council, assisted in teaching PREP classes, volunteered at our
summertime Vacation Bible School, and been part of the Bereavement Ministry. She was named the Archdiocese of
Louisville Outstanding School Volunteer in 2025.
In her free time, Amy loves the idea of cooking, reading, and traveling, but quite often finds herself in the stands of her child’s
sporting events most days!
