Hello everybody!
I am excited that St. Pats is hosting one of the regional welcome Masses for Archbishop Shelton Fabre. On Thursday, June 2, at 7:00 p.m., Archbishop Shelton will be our presider at Mass, priests from our region will concelebrate, and the invitation to participate has gone out to all of the Region 7 parishes. I hope you will be able to be there and that we can extend a warm and hospitable welcome to our new archbishop. After Mass, there will be an opportunity to meet and greet Archbishop Shelton outside with Graeter’s ice cream and SnoWhat snoballs. Please join us!
It is our last week of school! My deep appreciation to all who contribute to the ministry of our school with a special word of thanks to our principal, Dr. Nathan Sturtzel, for his leadership in education and in the faith, and especially to our school families for the sacrifices they make and their commitment to create a loving community at St. Pats. Have a wonderful summer!
Happy Memorial Day, as well. On Sunday, Fr. Quan will celebrate his one year anniversary of priesthood. Congratulations! We will have the Knights of Columbus at the 11:00 a.m. Mass honoring those who have died in service to our country. We will also be collecting this weekend for the Crusade for Children (please see below for more info). Our parish office will be closed on Memorial Day and Mass on Monday, May 30, will be at 10:00 a.m.
May God bless you!
Peace
Fr. Jeff
Crusade for Children Collection this weekend, May 28/29: Since 1955, the Archdiocese of Louisville has contributed millions of dollars to the Crusade for Children. This community-wide effort changes the lives of children with special needs, and many families in the Archdiocese have benefited directly from the Crusade as have our schools, which receive grants to assist students with diverse learning needs. Those who wish to donate may bring contributions to Mass or to the parish office. You may donate online HERE or check payable to St. Patrick with “Crusade” in the memo line. Thank you for your generosity.
Congratulations to the St. Patrick Class of 2022!
